Now in its 8th year, Straight Ahead Jazz Camp offers five days of innovative, hand-on sessions led by professional jazz musicians and expert clinicians who will educate, challenge, and inspire. Created for adults and students ages 18 and up, the camp provides musicians of all levels, educators and music lovers with an opportunity to grow learn and connect. This year, five special guest artists will share their insights and knowledge. Plan now to learn and jam with Regina Carter, Dee Alexander, Victor Goines, Slide Hampton and Stefon Harris. Additionally, the week includes workshops and presentations by renowned professional musicians and music educators including Dr. Wes, Jose Diaz, Tomeka Reid, Dr. Rosita Sands, Willie Pickens, Geof Bradfield, Greg Ward, Victor Garcia, Pharez Whitted, Bobbi Wilsyn and others!
